Splash Bandit 2026 Brings a Soaking-Wet Coaster Ride Back to Yomiuriland

From July 11 (Saturday) to August 30 (Sunday), the amusement park Yomiuriland is running "Splash Bandit 2026" on its most popular coaster, Bandit. Once again this year, five splash points are set up along the course, including a powerful water cannon blast and a splash tunnel. The water volume at the first steep-drop splash point has been doubled compared to last year, so riders can enjoy the coaster while getting thoroughly soaked. During the same period, the swing ride Milky Way is also getting a soaking version. On select dates, visitors can also enjoy a water dance show, a Bon dance show, and a summer festival with game stalls.

This summer, head to the amusement park as well as the pool for a cool and fun day out.

Four water cannons and one water gun are installed, spraying riders' seats in time with the ride.

*There is no non-soaking version of Milky Way during the event period

A new water dance show featuring Yomiuriland's mascot characters Good & Lucky and dancers using water guns.

Dates: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from July 11 to August 30, plus August 12 (Wednesday) to 14 (Friday) - 21 days total

Hours: 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM

Location: Taiyo no Hiroba Stage

Price: Free

*On Sundays and holidays, the 3:00 PM show is replaced with a mist greeting at Flag Street
