The full details of the Stella McCartney × H&M collection have been announced, with the launch set for Thursday, May 7, 2026. This marks the second collaboration between the global designer and sustainability pioneer and H&M — their first having taken place in November 2005, making this reunion nearly 20 years in the making.

The collection looks back on McCartney's 25-year design career while casting an eye toward the future, condensing her vision across both apparel and accessories. It bridges past and present by combining beloved signature items — including oversized shirts, fluid trench coats, and sharp tailored jackets — with playful, iconic archive pieces selected from her earlier work, such as jewelry-adorned prints and slogan tops.

"I see this collection as a journey through my own fashion history. It perfectly merges my contemporary staples with pieces I once loved, reflecting what I looked like when I first started in fashion and how my signature style evolved. It's playful, powerful, and sparkly, joyful and chic."
— Stella McCartney

Standout pieces include rib-knit dresses and tops featuring Stella's signature Falabella chain at the neckline, as well as a long white gown with cape-like sleeves that loop down to the hem, creating an elegantly flowing silhouette.

The lineup also includes sparkling partywear, coordinated jacket and trouser sets, and mesh dresses and blouses featuring a bold archive cherry print.

Bags and Accessories
The collection includes six styles of bags: branded shoulder bags, tote bags, and styles featuring the iconic Falabella chain detail. The Falabella chain also appears throughout accessories and shoes, serving as a strong expression of the brand's identity. The chains are made from recycled metal, reflecting McCartney's meticulous approach to sustainable design.

Sustainability Focus
The collection prioritizes recycled materials, organic cotton, and RWS-certified wool, and innovatively uses industrial corn and recycled vegetable oil as coating materials. Certified organic cotton is used throughout, with some items featuring ROC™-certified cotton. All wool in the collection carries Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certification. Even the glass beads used are made from 80% recycled glass, reflecting McCartney's forward-looking commitment to sustainable design.

Campaign Visuals
Shot in London by Sam Rock, the campaign features Renée Rapp, Angelina Kendall, and Adwoa Aboah. The imagery is playful yet natural, blending past and future. The campaign tagline is "&Stella," reinterpreted in various forms — "&Here," "&Now," "&Me," and "&You" — conveying a message about connection, compassion, and a way of living that resonates across past, present, and future.

"Stella has always had a bold vision for fashion. This collection traces her journey from a figure who shattered the norms at a young age to a timeless master of design. Every piece in the collection is captivating and tells a unique, bold story."
— Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M Creative Advisor
