Located directly connected to Shinagawa Station and perched on the 26th floor of a luxury hotel, the café & bar "Rhythmos" at Strings Hotel Tokyo InterContinental is known for its seasonal "Strings Parfait" series — a rotating menu of desserts built around carefully chosen fresh fruits.

Starting July 1 (Wednesday), two summer additions join the lineup. The "Acai & Yogurt" spotlights acai — often called the "jewel of the Amazon" — paired with tropical fruits and granola for a light yet layered texture. The "Peach & Cheese" layers the gentle sweetness of peach with the rich depth of cheese. Both can be savored in the spacious, open atmosphere of the hotel's 7-story atrium.

Acai & Yogurt Parfait

Built around health-conscious ingredients, this parfait delivers a fruit-forward flavor that stays light through every layer. The superfood "macambo" is coated in ruby chocolate, lending a roasted cocoa aroma and a vivid pop of flavor. A chantilly cream made with cacao pulp and honey yogurt ties the whole composition together, accentuating the bold fruitiness of the acai and the brightness of the tropical fruits. Lemon gelée adds a refreshing accent that carries the lightness all the way to the final bite.

Peach sorbet and cheese ice cream come together to offer both the natural freshness of the fruit and a satisfying richness. Layers of elderflower gelée, peach compote, and peach chantilly weave a harmonious balance of floral fragrance and gentle sweetness. The mellow depth of the cheese rounds out the peach's sweetness, leaving a soft and lingering finish.
