About the Product
The Master's Dream <Cask-Aged> series is known for its aged aroma and lingering finish, achieved by maturing the beer in casks previously used for Suntory's malt whisky. This year's release once again features the Hakushu Cask-Aged variant, following the previous year's edition.
The beer retains the hallmark characteristics of The Premium Malt's Master's Dream — described as "layered and rich" — through the use of Diamond Malt, the Triple Decoction brewing method*, and copper kettle brewing. Maturation in casks previously used for malt whisky from the Suntory Hakushu Distillery imparts a refreshing aged aroma and crisp finish. This year, adjustments to the brewing conditions further bring out the sweetness that spreads in the mouth along with the lingering aged aroma.
*A brewing process in which malt is boiled in a brew kettle three times to extract a rich, aromatic wort.
The packaging features a deep green label that conveys a sense of quality, with an illustration of a cask to reflect the care taken in its production.
