Suntory Limited's single malt whisky "Yamazaki Refill Spanish Oak" (山崎 リフィルスパニッシュオーク) goes on sale nationwide in limited quantities on Tuesday, November 24, 2026.
Yamazaki was born in 1984 and is one of Japan's leading single malt whiskies. Made with fine spring water from the Yamazaki area, the malt whiskies mature slowly in wooden casks over many years and seasons. They are then blended by skilled blenders into a finely balanced flavor and aroma. The brand's delicate taste is well regarded both in Japan and overseas.
This limited release uses only malt whisky matured in Spanish oak refill casks (casks that have already been used at least once to mature whisky and are reused to mature malt whisky), with the aim of winning even more fans for the brand.
