Pernod Ricard Japan will bring dedicated pop-up bars for premium blended Scotch whisky The Deacon and premium rum Bumbu to Ultra Japan 2026, Japan's largest urban dance music festival, taking place September 19 (Saturday) and 20 (Sunday), 2026. It marks the first appearance for both brands at the festival.
The two bars will be set up in separate areas of the festival, each themed around a different musical experience that reflects the character of its brand.
The Deacon will take over a bar in the Main Stage area, known for its striking visuals, cutting-edge sound system, and the largest crowds at the festival. Highballs and cocktails crafted to bring out The Deacon's smoky yet fruity flavor will be served alongside the music.
Bumbu will set up in the Resistance area, which offers a deeper, more immersive experience centered on techno and house music. Shots that highlight the brand's signature tropical sweetness, along with a limited-quantity frozen piña colada, will be available.
Festival-goers can also look forward to special content available only on-site. Guests who purchase a five-drink set (¥3,000) outside happy hour hours will receive an original The Deacon-branded pair of goggles, while supplies last.
Costumed "Deacon Girls" and "Bumbu Girls" will also be on hand at each bar, and visitors are welcome to take photos with them.
