The Pie Hole Los Angeles, a pie and coffee specialty shop from L.A., is opening its first-ever Kumamoto pop-up store at Amu Plaza Kumamoto from Tuesday, August 18 to Monday, August 31, 2026.
The lineup includes the brand's signature MOM'S APPLE CRUMBLE along with a range of American-style pies, both sweet and savory. The pop-up also marks the Japan debut of the brand's original pie box, the L.A. BOX.
To mark this first Kumamoto opening, the brand is also incorporating Kumamoto-grown ingredients into its products and directing a portion of sales toward supporting the region's disaster recovery.

Bringing Kumamoto Ingredients to The Pie Hole Nationwide, With a Portion of Sales Going to Disaster Recovery
Alongside the Kumamoto pop-up, the brand is deepening its connection with Kumamoto through ingredients as well as the pop-up itself.
The eggplant and tomatoes used in the Summer Vegetable Quiche, a limited-time item currently sold at the Nishi-Azabu, Karuizawa, and Fukuoka locations, will be gradually switched to Kumamoto-grown produce.
A portion of sales during the Kumamoto pop-up will also be donated. At the Nishi-Azabu, Karuizawa, and Fukuoka locations, a portion of sales from the Summer Vegetable Quiche, made with Kumamoto-grown eggplant and tomatoes, will likewise be donated.
Both donations are planned to support disaster recovery efforts within Kumamoto Prefecture.
