The University., a fashion brand inspired by an imaginary university, is opening its first solo pop-up store in the Kansai region at Hankyu Department Stores Umeda Main Store. The limited-time event runs from January 14 (Wednesday) to 20 (Tuesday), 2026, on the 8th floor at Kotokoto Stage 81 in the GREEN AGE section.
About The University.
The University. is a brand operated by DOYA Inc., the company behind the popular fashion brand CLOUDY. Born from the desire to create a place that becomes "the beginning of new talent," The University. is conceptualized as an imaginary university. The brand offers a wide range of products from college-motif apparel such as t-shirts and sweatshirts to accessories like mugs and stationery.
A portion of the sales proceeds will be used for school construction in Africa, primarily in Ghana. The brand plans to open a university in Ghana in 10 years using funds generated from brand operations, supporting classroom creation where children can encounter dreams and hopes.
Football Club Series Advance Release

The event will feature an advance release of The University.'s club series project, inspired by a fictional American football team.
The theme is "SECOND EFFORT" (the power to take one more step forward). Rather than focusing on big plays or star players in games, the series shines a light on unsung efforts and supporting roles – players who couldn't play due to injuries, substitutes, support staff, and those who support from behind. The structure of American football, where everyone fulfills their role to move forward, is overlaid with society and life, expressed through graphics and products symbolized by honeybees.
