Art goods maker Ken Elephant Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Kenzo Ishiyama) is releasing a new capsule toy lineup inspired by Toei's opening visuals from across the studio's history. The "Toei Historical Goods Collection" (five designs in total) goes on sale in late August 2026.
Toei Company, Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Fumio Yoshimura), which marked its 75th anniversary in 2026, has seen its opening visuals change and evolve alongside the studio itself over the decades — and this collection brings that history back as everyday goods.
The lineup spans the phantom opening visual used before Tokyo Eiga Haikyu (東京映画配給株式會社) absorbed two production companies to become Toei Company in 1951, all the way to the opening visuals used from 2001 to the present. Items include bags sized to hold B5 movie pamphlets, each featuring one of the historic opening visuals; a handkerchief designed around the striking image of the sun rising over crashing waves; a movie ticket case featuring the opening visual once used by Toei Doga Co., Ltd. (now Toei Animation Co., Ltd.); and a three-layered acrylic block recreating the studio's first color opening visual, 荒磯に波.

The collection turns a visual generations of moviegoers will instantly recognize into practical everyday items, adding a little extra richness to movie-watching time for fans of Toei's films and cinema in general alike.
The collection comes in two formats — capsule toy machines and boxed sets. Pre-orders for the boxed version are open now, ahead of release, on Ken Elephant's official online store, KENELE STORE.
