TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN will hold "TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN Dream Christmas 2026" from Thursday, November 5 to Friday, December 25, 2026.
The town's illumination is themed "When You Wish Upon a Star" (星に願いを). Built around a gold color named "STAR LIGHT GOLD," sparkling star-like lights decorate the whole town. TOKYO SKYTREE, imagined as the world's tallest Christmas tree, completes a special Christmas setting where wishes are entrusted to the stars.
The 4F Sky Arena hosts the annual Christmas market, with cute menu items this year, and the Tembo Deck at TOKYO SKYTREE hosts the first-ever "Candlelight Classical Concert" on two days only.
1. TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN Christmas Events
(1) Illumination
This year's illumination, themed "When You Wish Upon a Star," decorates the town with about 400,000 lights in a unified look centered on the gold color "STAR LIGHT GOLD," which twinkles like stars throughout the complex. TOKYO SKYTREE, close to the sky and to the stars, is imagined as the world's tallest Christmas tree, expressing a special Christmas in which each person's wish is entrusted to a star.
The symbol is the star-themed Christmas tree "WISH UPON A STAR TREE," 8 m tall. The lineup also includes "STARRY DOME," where visitors can experience being wrapped in light like shooting stars, and a participatory ornament tree where visitors write their wishes on an ornament and drop it into a post box. The illumination is designed to be experienced as well as viewed.

(2) Christmas Market in a Picture Book at TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN 2026 (絵本の中のクリスマスマーケット in 東京スカイツリータウン 2026)
Now in its 11th year, the Christmas market is themed "Christmas Market in a Picture Book." Huts reminiscent of a European townscape and festive decorations fill the venue, creating a space that feels like stepping into a picture book. Highlights include a "giant stollen" about 4 m long, one of the largest in Japan, and limited menu items with Santa and snowman motifs.

Visitors who arrive by Tokaido Shinkansen can receive one free drink sold at the Christmas market. At the designated huts in the venue, show a paper "EX Receipt" (EXご利用票, the seat information slip) and answer a survey. Mugs are also sold at a special price.

(1) Decorations and Photo Spots Inside TOKYO SKYTREE
Christmas decorations on the Tembo Deck offer a special Christmas close to the sky.

The view from the observation deck is wrapped in a big ribbon, presenting the scenery from the sky as a Christmas gift.

A snow globe filled with twinkling stars, where large ribbons gently wrap the cityscape in a wish for everyone's happy moments.
Floor 340, round window
A "best seat" round window that frames the view. Visitors can sit on an ornament and take a memorable photo.
(2) Christmas Love Song Live
Popular artists perform mini live shows centered on love songs, with the sparkling night view as a backdrop.

(3) NEW: Candlelight Classical Concert
The "Candlelight" classical concert series, hosted by Fever and popular around the world, will be held at TOKYO SKYTREE for the first time. Live classical music is performed in a fantastical space lit by flickering candlelight.

Limited menu items capture the sparkle of Christmas for a special cafe time.
White Strawberry Latte (¥980)
A showy strawberry-milk-based latte inspired by a white Christmas tree, with a gentle snow-like sweetness.
Aurora Sparkling Wine (¥1,200)
A sparkling wine with the sweet-tart flavor of cherry and the shimmer of aurora powder.
Matcha Ice Christmas Tree (¥990)
A dessert that recreates a Christmas tree with baumkuchen and matcha ice cream, reminiscent of a snowy landscape.
(6) SKYTREE ROUND THEATER Limited Christmas Film
A limited Christmas film is shown on the panoramic screen 350 m above the ground. It is a two-part short story that tells one story from different perspectives.

SKYTREE ROUND THEATER is an evening-only space on Tembo Deck Floor 350 that turns the window glass into a giant screen, with sound from 13 speakers and images projected by 24 projectors.

The photo service on Tembo Deck Floor 350 offers a Christmas-limited photo that combines the deck's view with Santa Claus riding a sleigh across the night sky.

Inside TOKYO SKYTREE, say "Dream Christmas!" to a staff member wearing a Santa hat to receive an original sticker. Layer the stickers to complete an original snow globe.

(10) Special Lighting
Special Christmas-themed lighting colors the night sky. Three types rotate about every 15 minutes.
- Ornament Tree (left): Lighting inspired by a tree topped with a shining star and colorful ornaments.
- Elegant Tree (center): Lighting inspired by a glittering tree topped with red and gold ribbons.
- Santa Claus (right): Lighting inspired by Santa Claus, known for his bright red outfit and hat with a white pom-pom.

- Except on December 24 (Thu) and 25 (Fri), one of "Iki" (粋), "Miyabi" (雅), or "Nobori" (幟) is scheduled to be lit from 10:00 PM to midnight.

(1) Konica Minolta Planetarium "Tenku" in TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN (コニカミノルタプラネタリウム天空)
"Illumination Welcome Dome" is a welcome video shown before the main program while visitors wait, featuring a fantastical Christmas illumination under countless twinkling stars. Photography is allowed. Visitors can watch the starry sky and illumination from a warm, comfortable indoor space.

(2) Sumida Aquarium
A Christmas tree decorated with a total of 1,111 plush toys of spotted garden eels, splendid garden eels, and white-spotted garden eels is displayed inside the aquarium, depicting garden eels living in a colony. Visitors can also observe the real garden eels alongside it.

Tokyo Shitamachi Bamboo Lights Stroll Around Sumida River Walk (東京下町回遊 竹あかり)
Located between TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN and the Asakusa area, Sumida River Walk and the Kitajukken River terrace (北十間川河川テラス) are the main venues of "Tokyo Shitamachi Bamboo Lights Stroll," which lights the atmospheric downtown Tokyo streets with the soft glow of bamboo lights. Visitors can walk slowly as the neighborhood changes its look from evening to night.
