Sport & Do Resort Resol no Mori (Location: Nagara Town, Chiba Prefecture, President: Tomoki Sotani) will host a Total Lunar Eclipse Observation Tour at its hot spring glamping area "Granvaux Spa Village" on March 3, 2026 (Tuesday), when the sun, Earth, and moon align perfectly, creating a spectacular celestial show where the full moon appears in a distinctive "reddish-copper color."
Additionally, a 1-night, 2-day package including the Total Lunar Eclipse Observation Tour will be available starting from March 3, 2026 (Tuesday).
On the same day, a hands-on telescope-building experience program produced by the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan will also be held.

A Memorable Night at Resol no Mori: Experience the Mystical Celestial Moment with a Beautiful Starry Sky at the Total Lunar Eclipse Observation Tour
A total lunar eclipse occurs when the sun, Earth, and moon align in a straight line, causing the full moon to be engulfed by Earth's shadow and transform into a reddish-copper color. This celestial show is scheduled to be observed on March 3, 2026 (Tuesday), coinciding with Hinamatsuri (Doll's Festival Day). Resol no Mori will host a Total Lunar Eclipse Observation Tour, offering visitors the opportunity to experience this special moment up close—watching the moon quietly change its appearance in the night sky—in the pristine air of the great outdoors. This event embodies the very essence of the mysteries created by celestial bodies.
Ricott, a star guide who graduated from the University of Tokyo's Department of Astronomy and is popular as a YouTuber delivering stargazing content, will be invited to lead the observation. Participants will closely observe the mystical transformation as the lunar surface changes to a reddish-copper color, the full moon gradually wanes, and then returns to its original form, using both the naked eye and telescopes. Each group will be provided with a picnic blanket spacious enough to comfortably seat 4 to 6 adults. The observation will take place in a green, air-pure, and well-ventilated lawn area where participants can lie back and enjoy stargazing in an open and relaxed atmosphere. This will be a moving experience, touching the mystical world woven by the starry sky and celestial bodies.
On the same day, a hands-on telescope-building experience program produced by the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan will also be held, allowing participants to build a telescope and observe the total lunar eclipse. Under the guidance of Ricott, participants will assemble the telescope and learn how to use it. This high-performance, compact, assembly-type telescope was designed, produced, and manufactured entirely by the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. Unlike conventional small assembly-type telescopes, it enables observation of phenomena that were previously difficult to see, such as the "phases of Venus" and the "rings of Saturn."
