Tsurukawa OMOTENASHI Festival Early Summer 2026 Coming to Machida, Tokyo

The Tsurukawa OMOTENASHI Festival is set to take place for the fourth time since its inaugural event in 2019. The theme for this edition, continuing from the previous one, is "Tsunagu Ichi" (つなぐ市) — a special market where cherished things and heartfelt sentiments pass from person to person. The concept is summed up in the idea: "Your treasured things become mine, and mine become yours."

From used-book markets and craft stalls to tea gatherings and neighborhood fair games, visitors can wander between community venues spread across the Tsurukawa area, forging new encounters and connections along the way.
