Tully's Coffee Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shuji Uchiyama) will open a new store in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, featuring the only in-store coffee roasting machine in the entire chain.
Since Tully's Coffee started domestic roasting in 2001, the company has remained committed to roasting within Japan to maximize the unique characteristics of coffee beans sourced from regions around the world.
"Tully's Coffee Roaster Sagamiono Central Park Store" will open inside Sagamiono Central Park, located near Odakyu Line's Sagamiono Station. As the only location among approximately 830 Tully's Coffee stores nationwide to feature an in-store roasting machine, visitors can experience the company's dedication to roasting up close. The store will offer a wide selection of limited-edition coffee beans carefully roasted by skilled roasters, as well as freshly brewed drip coffee. Guests can enjoy a special cup that can only be tasted here, where the coffee's unique characteristics are fully brought out.
The exterior features an impressive roof design that uses domestic wood to harmonize with the natural surroundings. Inside, the rich aroma of coffee fills the air, while the wooden textures visible from all directions and high ceilings create an open atmosphere that feels like relaxing in a forest.
Furthermore, the store will fulfill Tully's Coffee's mission as a "community cafe rooted in local society" through regional partnerships. The company has signed an agreement with Sagamihara City regarding child-rearing support. Through in-store events, the cafe will actively promote itself as an easily accessible child-rearing spot where families can casually participate. Additionally, an area management organization has been established together with Nomura Real Estate Co., Ltd. and JCOM Co., Ltd., and the partners will work to revitalize the region through collaborative events.
