TSUCHIYA KABAN, the leather goods brand that traces its roots back to randoseru (school bag) craftsmanship founded in 1965, is launching a new women's bag series called "Maraison" on March 26, 2026. The collection is characterized by sharp, clean koba (edge finishing) lines combined with the graceful curves of supple leather.
The lineup consists of two styles: a spacious large-capacity tote and a flexible 2-way mini tote suitable for a variety of occasions. Both styles are available in three colors — a deep Black, a refined Tan, and a soft White Sand — and will be sold at all 14 TSUCHIYA KABAN stores nationwide as well as the brand's official online store.
The "Crisp Embossed Leather" Material
The main material, "Crisp Embossed Leather," is embossed cowhide with a basic, neutral grain pattern. The fine, tight grain creates a sleek and composed appearance. The embossed texture also produces a subtle sheen on the surface, adding a sense of depth and refined character to the leather.
Colors and Details of the "Maraison"
Black — A sophisticated, deep color that blends seamlessly into a wide range of styles, adding a sharp and polished look to any outfit.
