A Space Steeped in Italian Aesthetics — with the Chocoviar Wall and Bar Chocolate Wall
The moment visitors step inside, they are greeted by an art piece featuring a gelato cone crafted by Florentine artisans. Palladium-finished surfaces and wall patterns inspired by gelato spoons create a space that blends Italian sophistication with modern sensibility.
At the center of the store is the "Chocoviar Wall" — exclusive to the Ginza location in Japan. It showcases Venchi's signature "Chocoviar" chocolates, tiny spheres of chocolate reminiscent of caviar, inviting guests to explore the brand's distinctive world through both sight and taste.
The store also features the "Bar Chocolate Wall," a floor-to-ceiling display of chocolate bars in an array of varieties. Additionally, the "My Venchi Mix" corner allows guests to choose from over 40 flavors of chocolate sold by weight, making for a personalized and playful shopping experience.
Ginza-Exclusive Gelato: Matcha Tiramisu
To mark the reopening, Venchi has created an exclusive new gelato flavor available only at the Ginza store: "Matcha Tiramisu." The flavor brings together tiramisu, a classic Italian dessert, with matcha, a cornerstone of Japanese food culture. The result is a harmonious yet surprising combination.
The matcha used is sourced from Ippodo Tea Co., a Kyoto-based specialty tea shop with a long-established reputation. Ladyfinger biscuit pieces add texture, and the fragrance of high-quality matcha runs through every bite — a meeting of Italian and Japanese sensibilities.
