New colors for the popular cat-shaped ceramic kanzashi (hair pin) from Kanzashiya Wargo go on sale starting March 27 at Kanzashiya Wargo store locations across Japan and on the EC site "The Ichi (座市)."
The rounded, cat-silhouette design that made the original series a fan favorite returns, this time with finishes that shift and shimmer depending on the angle. Aurora-processed pieces seem to glow with soft iridescent light, while mirror-polished versions carry a bold, luxurious sheen — as if the cats are carrying tiny particles of light on their backs.
New colors include "Aurora White" (光彩白) and "Aurora Peach" (光彩桃), which feature the gentle aurora finish, alongside the glamorous mirror-polished "Gold" (金) and "Silver" (銀). Stem colors have also been matched to each cat ball color, giving each piece a cohesive, coordinated look that allows the cat silhouette to stand out even more.
