The dessert highlights Crown Melon — widely regarded as among the finest melons in Japan — through seven distinct layers within a single glass.
Crafted by the Hotel's Pastry Chefs
A skin-on melon slice rises dramatically from the top of the glass, flanked by delicate transparent circular decorations and viola flowers. The result is a dessert that reads as much as a visual composition as it does a sweet course.


Seven Ways to Taste Crown Melon
The parfait is built in layers, each designed to bring out a different dimension of Crown Melon:
The first spoonful delivers smooth vanilla ice cream, whose gentle sweetness frames the melon's aroma. Below that, round melon balls release a burst of juice and concentrated sweetness with every bite. Crumble and caramel introduce a contrasting texture and mild bitterness within the sweetness. Mascarpone cream follows — rich in flavor yet light in feel — before lychee jelly adds a floral note and translucent sweetness. At the bottom of the glass lies melon flesh itself, ensuring the experience of Crown Melon continues to the very last bite.
