Yanaka Craft Cola is a craft beverage born in Tokyo's historic downtown district of Yanaka. The beverage features a refreshing taste characterized by 11 carefully selected spices, starting with cinnamon at the top note and followed by black pepper, creating a flavor profile that gradually spreads.
"Enjoy while exploring the downtown area" is the brand's concept. Since its founding, the brand has focused on developing RTD (ready-to-drink) type craft cola products. In November 2023, the brand released its standard flavor in a 200ml glass bottle carbonated beverage. In May 2024, it evolved to a 350ml can type, and in July 2025, it launched the 500ml PET bottle version. The brand is currently expanding primarily in the Yanesen area. With portability and instant drinkability as its strengths, the brand is now expanding its sales channels to bathing/accommodation facilities and restaurants.

The brand representative's journey began with a quest to improve excessive sweating caused by hyperhidrosis, seeking a cold beverage that would allow easy consumption of spices. Drawn to the warm atmosphere of the downtown Yanaka area, the representative named the brand "Yanaka Craft Cola." The packaging expresses love for the area, incorporating designs featuring Yanaka Ginza, local cats, and the Yuyake Dandan slope to convey "the atmosphere of Yanaka."
▶About the New Product "Edo-Tokyo Vegetable Yanaka Ginger Special Brew"
While consuming spices to improve hyperhidrosis symptoms, the brand representative encountered Yanaka Ginger, a traditional local ingredient. Inspired by the roots of Yanaka Ginger as a food traditionally consumed to ward off summer heat, and recognizing the synergy between its refreshing flavor and craft cola, the representative developed this new product unique to the area. The product expresses affection for the downtown Yanaka area and showcases the charm of traditional vegetables passed down since the Edo period in a new craft cola format.
