The sky lounge "Bay View" on the 28th floor of Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers is bringing back its annual Beer Festa for summer 2026. Running from Wednesday, July 1 through Wednesday, September 30, the "French BBQ" event offers panoramic views of Yokohama Port paired with French-inspired grilled dishes and an extensive free-flow drink selection.
An Evening Above the City
As dusk settles over Yokohama harbor and the cityscape begins to glow, Bay View provides a front-row seat to it all. Chef 髙木 浩平 — head chef of the restaurant's French kitchen — has designed a BBQ-style menu that brings classic French flavors to the table.
Guests start the evening with chilled dishes such as smoked salmon tartare with lime and herb fromage blanc sauce, chicken liver mousse, duck smoked with orange pinxtos, summer vegetable marinade with basil, and cheese with dried fruit compote.

The warm grilled courses that follow include shrimp and squid brochettes seasoned with Cajun spice, a generous grill assortment of "Abedori" brand chicken thighs from Iwate Prefecture and domestic pork, escargot bourguignon served in a bread bowl with garlic butter, and truffle-flavored french fries. For dessert, caramelized grilled pineapple is served with rum-raisin ice cream.

The free-flow drink lineup centers on Heartland draft beer and also includes a monthly rotating selection of craft beers:

About Chef 髙木 浩平

Chef 髙木 浩平 trained at culinary school before apprenticing at a French restaurant to build his fundamentals. His passion for French cuisine led him to study French language and culture at university for four years. After graduating, he joined Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers, working in the Bay View French restaurant and the banquet kitchen. In 2018, he was appointed exclusive chef for NISSAN STAR SUITES inside Yokohama Stadium. He became head chef at the all-day buffet restaurant "Compass" in 2019, and in August 2023 took the helm at the top-floor French restaurant "Bay View."
