The "Afternoon Tea Supervised Famimaru Brown Sugar Royal Milk Tea" arrives on May 12, 2026 (Tuesday), followed by the "Afternoon Tea Supervised Famimaru White Peach Rooibos Tea" on May 19, 2026 (Tuesday), at approximately 16,400 FamilyMart locations across Japan.
A Series That Has Sold Over 400 Million Bottles
The Afternoon Tea-supervised drink series has been on sale at FamilyMart since May 2021 and has earned a loyal following for its genuine flavor and clean finish. As of the end of March 2026, cumulative sales have surpassed 400 million bottles.
The newest release in the series is the Brown Sugar Royal Milk Tea, developed as a premium everyday indulgence. It uses 1.3 times the amount of Assam tea leaves compared to a standard Royal Milk Tea (based on FamilyMart's Royal Milk Tea, as of December 2025), resulting in a rich, aromatic brew. The natural sweetness and depth of brown sugar are paired with a generous milk character for a full-bodied taste.
