and wander OUTDOOR GALLERY in Marunouchi, Tokyo, will host "eternity", a two-person exhibition by sculptors Morison Kobayashi and Daisuke Nakamura, from Saturday, November 14 to Sunday, November 22, 2026.
Two Sculptors Inspired by Mountain Nature
Morison Kobayashi shapes realistic mountain plants out of iron, while Daisuke Nakamura carves pieces of wood into imaginary creatures. Using different materials and methods of expression, both artists turn the forms of nature into artworks. This is their second exhibition together, following the one held in November 2024.
Both artists love mountain climbing. They head into the mountains themselves and create their works inspired by the plants, animals, and landscapes they encounter in the wild. "eternity" presents the diverse forms created by time and nature, along with works that capture them through each artist's own perspective.
An interview with the two artists is available on the and wander website: https://www.andwander.com/journal/exhibition/journal-261105.html
