ART AQUARIUM MUSEUM GINZA, located in Ginza Mitsukoshi, is holding three events this autumn that pair the museum's dreamlike space with the season. They are a gelato-set ticket with the Italian gelato shop FLOR, a photography workshop called "PICTURE-RIUM" taught by a professional instructor, and an "Autumn Immersion Experience" in a space covered with fallen leaves.
This is the last autumn the museum will spend in Ginza, ahead of the end of its exhibition at Ginza Mitsukoshi on January 6, 2027. The three events let visitors enjoy ART AQUARIUM through taste, sight and the whole body.
FLOR x ART AQUARIUM: Gelato Ticket with Autumn Flavors
ART AQUARIUM MUSEUM GINZA and the Italian gelato shop FLOR are teaming up once again this autumn. A gelato-set ticket combines admission to ART AQUARIUM MUSEUM GINZA with a serving of FLOR gelato. Three flavors with an autumn feel are available, so after enjoying the fantastical world of goldfish, visitors can finish with a taste of the season.
Period: October 30 (Fri) to December 27 (Sun)
Ticket prices: Web ticket ¥3,100 (tax included) / Same-day ticket ¥3,300 (tax included)
Web ticket sales: https://ticket.artaquarium.jp/
Details may change without notice, even during the event period.

The three flavors
- Marron Glacé: A Japan-original flavor made with Italian chestnut paste. The texture of a glacé chestnut is recreated with Japanese chestnuts simmered in sweet syrup (kanroni).
- Hojicha (roasted green tea): Made with the hojicha "火男" from Kyoto Ujien (京都宇治園), this gelato combines the deep roasted aroma of the tea with the mellowness of milk.
- Pear: Made with Italian pear juice for a natural, very creamy taste. This is a flavor unique to FLOR.
About FLOR GELATO ITALIANO OSAKA
FLOR GELATO ITALIANO OSAKA is the first Japanese location of FLOR, a world gelato brand born in Rome, Italy, with 15 stores in eight countries. Its gelato is handmade every day using traditional recipes and carefully selected ingredients imported directly from the main shop in Rome, recreating the flavors of Rome as faithfully as possible. The Japanese shop also draws attention for original flavors that make use of seasonal ingredients.
PICTURE-RIUM: Turning ART AQUARIUM into a Single Work of Art
"PICTURE-RIUM" is a photography workshop about capturing the dreamlike world of ART AQUARIUM as a single work. In a lecture by photographer Akihiko Nagumo (南雲暁彦), participants learn the shooting techniques and expressive approaches that make ART AQUARIUM's subjects look their best, including the movement of goldfish, the form of the tank works and the lighting that shapes the space.

The workshop takes place after regular business hours, with the museum reserved for participants, so they can take their time shooting while facing the works. The annual photography workshop is held once again at ART AQUARIUM in Ginza, and this will be its last time in Ginza. Participants are invited to photograph the photogenic ART AQUARIUM in Ginza with their own cameras.
A dedicated ticket is required to take part.

Autumn Immersion Experience: Playing in a Sea of Fall Leaves
Autumn scenery arrives inside ART AQUARIUM. Part of the museum is turned into a "leaf-viewing" area covered with vividly colored fall leaves. Visitors can walk across the leaves, pick them up and toss them into the air, enjoying the autumn scenery in their own way.
Goldfish swimming in a dreamlike space, surrounded by a spread of fall leaves: besides stepping into the scene, visitors can capture a photo that is only possible at this time of year, such as the moment the leaves are sent flying or a view where the leaves overlap with goldfish and tank works. Here, autumn at ART AQUARIUM is meant to be enjoyed not only by looking but also by touching, walking and photographing.

Period: November 7 (Sat) to November 30 (Mon)
Location: Inside ART AQUARIUM MUSEUM GINZA, "Kingyo no Sando" (金魚の参道)
About ART AQUARIUM
ART AQUARIUM is an immersive entertainment art experience that presents goldfish tank works with light, fragrance and sound. It brings together Japanese tradition and cutting-edge art, expressing the culture of goldfish appreciation, which dates back to the Edo period, as contemporary art. The beauty of the tank works' forms, the staging of the space and goldfish of many different beauties create a fantastical space.

Born in Tokyo in 2007, ART AQUARIUM has been held as a limited-time event across Japan, and its summer run in Tokyo has become a familiar fixture. In August 2020, the first permanent museum opened in Nihonbashi, Tokyo (Chuo-ku), and in May 2022 it moved to Ginza, Tokyo (Chuo-ku, 8th floor of the Ginza Mitsukoshi New Building), where it operates today. The exhibition at Ginza Mitsukoshi ends on January 6, 2027, and a special one-year exhibition is planned in Shibuya, Tokyo, from spring 2027. As of October 2025, this entertainment-style art museum franchise has recorded cumulative attendance of 13 million.
