Asakusa Hanayashiki, Japan's oldest amusement park, is dividing its operating hours into two distinct sessions during GW 2026. The morning session, "Hanayashiki's GW 2026," runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, while the evening session, "CANDY TUNE 3rd Anniversary 'Asakusa Ameyashiki,'" runs from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Both sessions will limit daily visitor numbers, and separate tickets are required for each.
Morning Session: "Hanayashiki's GW 2026"
From April 30 (Thu) to May 8 (Fri), the park will open one hour earlier than usual, welcoming guests from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (last entry at 3:30 PM). With high temperatures forecast for GW 2026, the earlier opening allows visitors to enjoy rides and attractions during the cooler morning hours. The entertainment team "Hanayashiki-za" will also take the stage with their "Hanahana Festival Show" on select days during the period.
After the park closes in the afternoon, the surrounding Asakusa area is ready for exploration — from sightseeing and street food to restaurants and the lively dining scene nearby.

For the five highest-demand days — May 2 (Sat) through May 6 (Wed) — the park will limit daily admissions and switch to special GW pricing:

From May 1 (Fri) to May 8 (Fri), Hanayashiki runs a special eight-day evening session from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, dedicated to CANDY TUNE's 3rd debut anniversary. The seven-member idol group takes over the park — from ride soundtracks to food, decor, and attractions.

Attraction-Linked Music and Member Announcements
Each ride plays a CANDY TUNE song selected to match the attraction, turning the park into a walk-through "best album" of the group's three-year history. Members have also recorded exclusive ride announcements, and the park broadcast features "Ameyashiki Talk" segments from members approximately every 30 minutes.
Member Collaboration Food and Drinks
Seven collaboration food items, one themed to each member of CANDY TUNE, are available alongside novelty-included collaboration drinks — all exclusive to the Ameyashiki event period.
Panda Car and Photo Spots
A special "Ameyashiki-spec" panda car, dressed in CANDY TUNE costumes complete with a cowboy hat, will be on display inside the park. Life-size member panels, decorated attractions, and other themed photo spots are set up throughout the venue.
