Ayune Shojima Solo Exhibition "Life tie" Opening at Shinjuku Takashimaya Art Gallery

From April 8 to 20, 2026, Shinjuku Takashimaya's 10th Floor Art Gallery will host a solo exhibition by artist Ayune Shojima, titled "Life tie."

Ayune Shojima is known for depicting the flora and fauna of everyday life through vibrant colors and soft, free-flowing brushwork. She has actively exhibited her work both in Japan and abroad, and has collaborated with commercial facilities, apparel brands, and interior design brands, earning a wide following across generations.

The exhibition's subtitle is "Life tie," and it will showcase over 40 works. Each piece reflects the small but irreplaceable things that Shojima has carefully gathered from her daily life—elements she describes as bringing richness and color to human experience.
