Lumina Flora Night Garden Opens at Bihoku Hillside Park in Hiroshima, Running Through January 11, 2027

Lumina Flora: A Garden of Dancing Flowers (ルミナ フローラ〜花々の舞う庭〜), a special area of the Winter Illumination 2026-2027 Bihoku Illumi at Bihoku Hillside Park in Shobara, Hiroshima Prefecture, opened on Saturday, October 31, 2026. It can be seen at the park's Flower Plaza (花の広場) through Monday, January 11, 2027, a national holiday.

Under the theme "Touch the Light. Be Colored by Flowers." (光にふれる。花に染まる。), the area is an immersive night garden where the glow of flowers colors visitors with every step, making them part of the scenery. The Flower Plaza features a variety of displays, including flowers floating in the air, images that appear like holograms, and a corridor of light surrounded by colorful flowers.

TSP Taiyo, which produced Lumina Flora, handled the planning and spatial staging. Its creative brand ELEMENTS produced the space design, and the fantastical staging was created by the artist ATWAS.

Displays inspired by the flowers that bloom through the seasons at Bihoku Hillside Park also offer a fresh look at the park. Visitors can walk through the garden while searching for a favorite flower of their own, in a fantastical experience available only in winter.

Park admission and parking fees are required to enter the park.

Dance of Flowers (花の舞)

Giant flowers projected across the ground spread as if dancing, opening the door to a fantastical world. Colorful flower displays created with dynamic projection mapping mark the start of the Lumina Flora story.

Path of Flowers (花の路)

This path of light is inspired by the seasonal flowers that actually bloom at Bihoku Hillside Park. The glow of colorful flowers at visitors' feet gently guides them along.

Flower Boxes (花ばこ)

A photogenic area lined with cube objects displaying a variety of flowers. Rotating flower images create three-dimensional movement, and the cubes show a different look depending on the viewing angle.

Changing Seasons (季節のうつろい)

Fantastical flower screens spread along both sides of the path. Colorful flowers are projected as if floating in the night sky, and with every step, flowers of light fill the field of view, creating a special time like a stroll through a dream.

Illusion of Flowers (花の幻)

Flower petals and colors drifting in the wind surround the entire field of view, giving the sense of walking inside a hologram. A mysterious and beautiful experience awaits, where the boundary between reality and unreality blurs.
