The "Chihiro Nagashima Exhibition ―My Safe Room―" will be held at the 10th Floor Art Gallery of Shinjuku Takashimaya from April 22 (Wednesday) to May 4 (Monday, public holiday), 2026. Note that the final day closes at 4:00 PM.
The exhibition brings together works by Chihiro Nagashima, primarily featuring girls as motifs. Her paintings layer casual, everyday imagery and express it through vivid, vibrant colors. While the works carry a sweet and pop atmosphere at first glance, they also emanate a sense of unease within their expansive pictorial space—creating a deeply layered worldview that is distinctly her own.
Featured Works (Selected Examples)

"Memory of the Beautiful Plate at Takadanobaba" H41cm × W31.8cm

"Butterfly Vase" H73cm × W50cm
