Courtyard by Marriott Fukui Launches Hawaiian Lunch Buffet — No Passport Required

Courtyard by Marriott Fukui (1-3-5 Chuo, Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture) is holding a "Hawaiian Lunch Buffet — No Passport Required" at its 15th-floor restaurant Substance, available on weekends and holidays from Saturday, July 18, 2026.

The menu includes Hawaiian local favorites such as garlic shrimp, loco moco, poke, and spam garlic rice, alongside hotel-original dishes incorporating local ingredients like Fukui salmon and seasonal peaches. The tropical colors and refreshing flavors are designed to evoke the feel of a summer getaway.

At the live kitchen, a chef carves roast beef (beef round) tableside, served with a special Hawaiian sauce infused with tropical elements.

Cold dishes round out the selection with options like smoked salmon salad with pineapple salsa, carpaccio of peach and fresh fish with herb dressing, and a watermelon and ricotta cheese salad with lemon dressing — all light, summer-appropriate choices. The menu is designed to be enjoyed by guests of all ages, from children to adults.

One family-friendly perk: for every adult, one elementary school student dines free.

For children, an original ice cream corner lets kids build their own bowl — choosing toppings like chocolate and colorful sprinkles — making it a fun hands-on activity during the meal.
