About FRENCH LE CHENE
FRENCH LE CHENE is a French restaurant located on the first floor of Hotel Chourakukan's main building.
The name "CHENE" (French for oak) references "Maru ni Mitsugashiwa" (three oak leaves within a circle), the family crest of Kichibei Murai, who built Chourakukan. Carrying on the spirit of a space once used to welcome guests from around the world, the restaurant serves dishes rich with seasonal character, drawing on the finest ingredients from Kyoto and its surrounding areas.
