Beginners Welcome! A New Golf Experience Anyone Can Enjoy

CRAZY GOLF, making its debut in Japan, is a new type of putt-putt entertainment that has gained popularity in Europe and America. The interior design was created by Naoya Morishita, a creative director who has gained attention on social media, creating a playful space filled with creativity.

The facility features 9 unique holes, including thrilling roller coaster-style courses, tricky obstacles that will make you laugh, and competitive battle-type holes where friends can enjoy together. The attraction goes beyond simply hitting a ball - each round offers different excitement depending on "how you strategize" and "what surprises occur."

No golf experience or skills are required, providing "experiences filled with surprises and laughter" for people of all ages from children to adults. The venue is located at "Roof Top World" on the rooftop of Yokohama World Porters. Enjoy playing in an open space with panoramic views of Yokohama's cityscape, blue skies during the day, and beautiful night views in the evening.

Background

The golf market has been reevaluated since the COVID-19 pandemic as a safe outdoor leisure activity that avoids the "three Cs" (crowded places, close-contact settings, and confined spaces), leading to a rapid increase in new players including young people and women. In recent years, it has also gained attention as "a communication venue replacing drinking parties," with its popularity growing year by year.

Meanwhile, Japan's nightlife entertainment still mainly consists of existing options like karaoke and darts. Particularly with the expected recovery of inbound tourism, there is currently a shortage of nighttime entertainment content that appeals to both domestic and international adults in what is called the "nighttime economy."

Therefore, CRAZY GOLF was developed as a new entertainment option that responds to the growing demand for "socializing through golf" while removing traditional barriers such as skill requirements and costs. Looking ahead to the recovery of inbound demand, this venture aims to "implement content necessary for the future world in society" and spread a new culture that can be enjoyed across generations and nationalities from Yokohama.

CRAZY GOLF is an entertainment experience that combines the convenience of using only putters with unique gimmicks and artistic elements for an extraordinary experience. In Europe and America, it has already gained popularity as an activity that can be enjoyed across generations.

Please visit CRAZY GOLF to experience this new entertainment.
