Crispy "Golden Crepe" Shop Opens in Osaka's Nakazakicho

A new crepe specialty shop, Crepe to Espresso to Nakazakicho, opened its doors on March 5, 2026, in the retro streetscape of Osaka's Nakazakicho district.

Crepe to Espresso to is a crepe specialty shop with existing locations in Omotesando and Arashiyama. The shop is known for its "Golden Crepe" — a distinctive crepe with a light, crispy, and crunchy texture reminiscent of a cookie. This signature dough was co-developed with food creator "Wolf" over a year and a half of development.

The shop also features aromatic espresso made from self-roasted coffee beans, offering a pairing of crepes and coffee as a new way to enjoy both.

Store Design

The new Nakazakicho location features a large glass facade opening toward the street. At the center of the store is a large counter clad in green tiles — the image color of Crepe to Espresso to Nakazakicho — where guests can watch crepes being made and espresso being pulled up close.

The interior and terrace seating incorporate vintage furniture, with warm wood tones and soft lighting creating a relaxed atmosphere.

Yuzu Camembert Sugar — ¥1,100 (tax included)

A crepe combining the refreshing aroma of yuzu with the richness of Camembert cheese and a gentle sweetness from sugar. The balance of sweet and savory makes this an exclusive item only available at this location.

Spring Seasonal: Sakura Mont Blanc and Strawberry Mochi — ¥1,600 (tax included)

A spring-limited crepe featuring mont blanc cream with a hint of cherry blossom fragrance, paired with sweet-tart strawberries and soft mochi (rice cake). The combination of the delicate cherry blossom flavor, fresh strawberry tartness, and chewy texture brings together the refinement of Japanese confectionery and the lightness of a crepe.
