Criollo, a patisserie operated by Ecole Criollo Inc. (headquarters: Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Rei Kubota), is holding a "Tropical Fair" from Saturday, August 1 to Monday, August 31, 2026, at its main store (Kotake-mukaihara, Tokyo), Nakameguro store, and Azabudai Hills store. The lineup brings together tropical aromas and refreshing sweetness for a summer-only collection of desserts.
Phantom Tropical Cheesecake — ¥2,080 (tax included)
Criollo's No. 1 sweet, the "Phantom Cheesecake," returns in a new tropical flavor.
Made with mango and passion fruit puree folded into the batter, the cheesecake has a light texture that melts softly in the mouth. The cheese gently wraps around the fruit's sweet-tartness for a mild, fruity flavor, while a lime-accented mango confiture adds an accent, leaving a fresh finish suited to summer.
Also planned for sale at Criollo's online shops (excluding the Amazon shop).

The "Tropical Fair" brings together sweets made with mango, pineapple, passion fruit, and coconut. Desserts highlighting the appeal of juicy, in-season peaches are also joining the lineup, adding further color to the fair. Expect the rich aroma of sun-ripened fruit layered with fruity flavor throughout this seasonal collection.
Featured Items

The name itself plays on this surprise by swapping around the letters of "mango" and "mont blanc" (montblanc) — a playful creation.
