Kikkoman Foods Corporation is adding a new pouch to its Delmonte Puree Fruits lineup: the Puree Fruits Wakayama Mikan & Ehime Ponkan Mix, arriving November 16 for a limited time through the end of March 2027.
New Product: Puree Fruits Wakayama Mikan & Ehime Ponkan Mix
The new Puree Fruits Wakayama Mikan & Ehime Ponkan Mix is a pouched, grated-fruit blend of Wakayama Prefecture-grown Unshu mikan, Ehime Prefecture-grown ponkan, and apple. It offers the mellow sweetness of mikan alongside the moderate tartness and pulpy texture of ponkan.
This marks the first time the Puree Fruits series has featured the growing region of its fruit in the product name.
The Puree Fruits Series: Helping Address Insufficient Fruit Intake
The Puree Fruits series is 100% fruit (*2), with each pouch providing half a day's worth of fruit (*3). It can be enjoyed casually anytime, anywhere — at breakfast or lunch, as well as for snacks and desserts. The pouches can also be frozen, making them useful as a cooling pack for items such as bento lunches.
With the Puree Fruits series, Delmonte proposes a new way to enjoy fruit: portable and ready to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

The Puree Fruits series was first launched in March 2024, limited to the Greater Tokyo and Shinetsu region across one metropolis and nine prefectures. Sales expanded nationwide starting in March 2025, and cumulative shipments have topped 5.5 million pouches (*1) since the nationwide expansion.
Going forward, Delmonte will continue to support healthy eating habits with high-quality products made from carefully selected vegetables and fruits from around the world, under the slogan "Turning Sunshine into Deliciousness."
(*1) Based on shipment figures from Kikkoman Foods Corporation for the period of March 2025 through the end of June 2026, covering all items in the Puree Fruits series.
(*2) Calculated as a raw fruit equivalent. This product uses concentrated fruit ingredients, converted to a straight-juice equivalent of 100% or more. Ingredients other than fruit are used for quality adjustment.
(*3) Each pouch contains at least half a day's worth (100g) of fruit relative to the daily fruit intake target of 200g, per the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's "Health Japan 21 (the Third Term)."
