Lifestyle store Dessin, operated by Fields International (part of World Group), is releasing its first collaboration items with junior high school painter Sei Horinouchi at stores nationwide starting Friday, July 17th.
Ahead of the in-store launch, advance pre-orders opened on the official online store on Friday, July 3rd.
Dessin operates in department stores, station buildings, and shopping centers nationwide, offering apparel for women, men, and children, as well as lifestyle goods that families can enjoy together.
About the Artist: Sei Horinouchi
Sei Horinouchi, born in 2014 and from Nagano Prefecture, paints out of a wish to help protect animals she loves, and her work has drawn acclaim both in Japan and abroad.
In 2023, she held a two-person exhibition with painter SHOGEN in Chino City and received the Hokuto Mayor's Award at the Nakamura Keith Haring International Children's Art Contest. In February 2024, she won the gold award in the junior category of India's 9th International Children's Art Contest, "Creative Kids India," and later that year created the main visual for the "Starry Sky Film Festival" hosted by Hara Village. In 2025, she held a solo exhibition, "Sei Horinouchi – Living Together," at the Yatsugatake Museum of Art, and in October of that year received the Keith Haring Foundation Award at the 17th Nakamura Keith Haring International Children's Art Contest. She was also honored at Liquitex The Challenge 2025 in November. In March 2026, her artwork was used for the jacket art of Native American flute player Mark Akixa's album, "Eagle Song."
For this collaboration, Dessin has released three items featuring vivid, lifelike prints of animals drawn just as Horinouchi sees them.
