Dole (株式会社ドール, headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo) is releasing a new addition to its Dole Smoothie Bowl series: the Dole Smoothie Bowl グアバボウル (Guava Bowl). It goes on sale from Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at select Seven-Eleven stores in the Tokai region, in limited quantities.
The Dole Smoothie Bowl series pairs three types of frozen fruit and a smoothie base in a single cup, offering a ready-to-eat combination of sweet-tart fruit, crispy granola, and a rich, creamy smoothie. Since the first flavor — the アサイーボウル (Acai Bowl) — launched last year, the series has grown to seven flavors total and has sold a cumulative total of approximately 7 million units through the end of March 2026.
Dole Smoothie Bowl グアバボウル (Guava Bowl)

The new Guava Bowl features a smoothie base made from pink guava puree sourced from Brazil, known for its characteristically sweet aroma and sweet-tart flavor. Combined with banana puree — which adds a rich sweetness — the base achieves a smooth texture that fully showcases the natural flavor of the fruit.
The banana topping and the banana puree used in the smoothie base are made from "もったいないバナナ" (Mottainai Banana) — a term Dole uses for non-standard bananas that are still perfectly edible but would otherwise be discarded at various points in the distribution process. The Guava Bowl is both a delicious summer treat and a contribution to reducing fruit waste.

About the Dole Smoothie Bowl Series
The Dole Smoothie Bowl series features carefully selected fruits from around the world packed into a single cup. The smoothie is made without added sugar, letting the natural flavor of the fruit shine through, and is easy to enjoy at home or at the office. With granola for added texture and satisfaction, it works as a breakfast substitute, a snack, or a light addition to lunch.
*The granola topping does contain sugar.
About the Mottainai Banana Project

With a goal of zero fruit waste, Dole launched the "もったいないバナナプロジェクト" (Mottainai Banana Project) in September 2021 to rescue non-standard bananas that would otherwise be thrown away. More than 200 companies have since joined the initiative. Mottainai Bananas are now used in a wide range of products including drinks and confectionery, offered through the workplace subscription service "オフィス・デ・ドール," and sold directly in retail stores. From 2025, the project expanded beyond food products to include "バナナ炭" (banana charcoal). Dole has also broadened the concept to include other produce under the "もったいないフルーツ" (Mottainai Fruits) project.
