ERAM, the fragrance brand from Pola Orbis Holdings Inc. (head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Kiichi Yokote), is holding a pop-up event at JAPAN EDITION Ginza starting Saturday, August 8, 2026. The event also marks the debut of the brand's first-ever art pieces. During the pop-up, guests can experience ERAM's complete lineup of 17 fragrances, in addition to the scents already carried at the store on a permanent basis.
About ERAM
Launched in November 2024, ERAM is a Japan-born fragrance brand built around the concept of "a fragrance that lets your senses lead the way, for enjoying scent entirely on your own terms." Drawing inspiration from classical literature, its scents express universal scenery and emotions that resonate with Japanese sensibilities.
Working from the idea that our sense of smell is an intensely personal experience tied to memory and emotion, ERAM proposes encountering fragrance through sensory elements beyond scent alone, including artwork and language, so that each person can discover a scent through their own sensibility, unlike anyone else's.
The Brand's First Art Pieces
The drawings that appear on ERAM's bottles are created not by "drawing" lines but by "carving" them away, a technique inspired by kakiotoshi, a traditional sgraffito method used in ceramics. For this project, that carving technique takes physical form for the first time in its original medium.
The resulting ceramic objects and plaques were specially created by the artist behind ERAM's artwork. Lines are carved with a blade into a surface built up with layers of glaze, transforming the flat drawings into forms with mass and shadow.
These works will be unveiled exclusively at JAPAN EDITION Ginza. ERAM plans to continue exploring ways to expand its brand world through senses beyond scent.
