FamilyMart's "Cho Mochimochi Pan" (super mochi-mochi bread) series has crossed the 10 million cumulative unit milestone in just 24 days since its nationwide launch on April 7, 2026. The six-item lineup is now available at approximately 16,400 FamilyMart stores across Japan.
The series puts a new spin on familiar bread varieties by introducing an exceptionally springy, chewy texture — a quality that has clearly resonated with shoppers, with units reportedly selling at a pace of around four per second. FamilyMart notes this makes it a record-breaking hit in its bread category, rivaling the "Nama Koppe Pan" (fresh koppe bread) series that debuted in 2023 and remains one of the chain's staple offerings.

All six products are available nationwide under the FamilyMart "Famimaru Bakery" label. Specifications and pricing may differ in Okinawa, and some items may not be carried at every store.
Mochi-Mochi Caramel Donut
