Galaxy Group's Four Lake Biwa Resorts in Shiga Hold Halloween Events Through November 16, With Illuminations and Lantern Night Walks

All four facilities run by Galaxy Group, which operates resort facilities on the shore of Lake Biwa in Shiga, are holding a limited-time Halloween event through Monday, November 16, 2026.

The participating facilities are Grand Dome Shiga Takashima (グランドーム滋賀高島), a dome-shaped glamping facility; Galaxy Pool Resort, a villa with a private pool; Galaxy Stardust, a private villa with a loft; and Galaxy Glamping Dog Premium, where guests can stay with their dogs.

During the event, each facility is decorated for Halloween and lit with illuminations. Seasonal extras include free rentals of costumes and Halloween goods, a night walk with lanterns, and gifts of glowing items. The event suits families, friends, and couples, as well as travelers coming with their dogs, for an autumn glamping stay.

Limited-Time Halloween Event at All Four Galaxy Group Facilities

1. Halloween Decorations and Illuminations at All Four Facilities

For the duration of the event, each Galaxy Group facility is styled for Halloween. At night, Halloween-themed illuminations light up the grounds, creating an out-of-the-ordinary setting for the evening.

2. Free Rentals of Costumes and Halloween Goods

At check-in, guests can borrow costumes and Halloween items free of charge. Dressing up, taking photos around the facility, and making Halloween memories with family and friends are all part of the stay.

3. An Autumn Night Walk With Lanterns

Guests can also take a night walk carrying a lantern. Surrounded by soft light and the atmosphere of an autumn night, they can enjoy a time that is part of the glamping experience.

4. Fingertip Projection Lights and Glowing Bracelets as Gifts

Fingertip projection lights and glowing bracelets are given out to add to the Halloween mood. Guests can wear the glowing items and enjoy the event.

After Halloween, Christmas Illuminations Are Planned at All Four Facilities

Following the Halloween event, Galaxy Group plans to put on illuminations for the Christmas season. The autumn atmosphere created by the Halloween decorations will give way to Christmas illuminations that light up winter nights. The resort spaces change their look with the seasons, offering a stay that feels a little different from an ordinary trip.

The illuminations are also suggested for winter outings with family and friends, Christmas trips for couples, and winter resort stays with dogs. From Halloween to Christmas, the four facilities aim to offer seasonal stays that help guests make memories with the people who matter to them.

Details such as the period and content of the Christmas illuminations will be announced on each facility's official website once they are decided.
