Hotel Metropolitan in Nishi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku is hosting its popular Suica's Penguin Buffet during Golden Week 2026, this time loaded with seasonal spring ingredients. The event takes place in the hotel's banquet hall and offers approximately 25 dishes, including exclusive Suica's Penguin-themed hors d'oeuvre, a main meat course, and desserts. Adult guests also receive a complimentary original umbrella cover souvenir.

Suica's Penguin Signature Dishes
In addition to the buffet, each guest receives one individually plated course. The three signature Suica's Penguin items are:
Suica's Penguin Hors d'Oeuvre
A cauliflower mousse and lobster consommé gelée with Suica's Penguin crafted from fish mousse floating on top. A charming and playful dish to start the meal.

Suica's Penguin Main Meat Dish
A hamburger steak made with Sendai beef and pork, topped with a Suica's Penguin-shaped puff pastry filled with cheddar cheese, served with the hotel's original demi-glace sauce.

Suica's Penguin Main Dessert
A layered mini parfait featuring melon jelly and melon compote blancmange, mango passion fruit coulis, honey and vanilla bavarois, and raspberry confiture. The playful melon jelly "bubble bath" scene with Suica's Penguin makes for a delightful Golden Week finale.
