GRAND MONday Resort Tokyo Bay Maihama, the 35th property in the hotel MONday Group and the first in the new "GRAND MONday Resort" brand, will have its grand opening on Saturday, July 18, 2026. The opening follows that of Premium hotel MONday Maihama View I, which launched in the same area in December 2025. According to the operator, the hotel is the only property in the Maihama area where every room falls under the ocean-front category, with all guest rooms offering views of Tokyo Bay.
What Is "GRAND MONday Resort"?
"GRAND MONday Resort" is a new resort brand from hotel MONday Group. Positioned close to urban centers yet removed from the rhythm of daily life, the brand aims to offer stays defined by unhurried time. It draws on the fine Japanese hospitality and environmental consideration that characterize the group, presenting a resort experience where the time spent at the hotel itself becomes the main attraction.
1. MAIHAMA LAGOON — A Year-Round Outdoor Pool
The centerpiece of the resort is the outdoor pool "MAIHAMA LAGOON," which features temperature-controlled water that adjusts to the outside temperature, making it usable throughout the year. During the day it functions as a sun-drenched urban oasis; in the evening guests can take in the sunset spreading across Tokyo Bay; and at night the area transforms into an atmospheric space lit up by decorative lighting. The pool complex also includes a barrel sauna, jet bath, kids' pool, and BBQ area.
Day Pool Usage (Limited Period)
During a limited period, hotel guests can use the day pool free of charge. The above rates apply through October 31. Reservation period: April 28 to May 31, 2026; Stay period: July 18, 2026 to October 31, 2026.
Barrel Sauna
A luxury barrel sauna from a Nordic brand is installed poolside, wrapped in natural wood. Guests can enjoy a deep relaxation session within this carefully designed, warmth-filled space.
2. ISLE — Pool Club Restaurant
The resort's all-day dining restaurant, "ISLE - Pool Club Restaurant," serves multinational cuisine under the concept of "enjoying food as if traveling the world." The menu spans American-style grilled dishes, Indian tandoori chicken, Turkish shish kebab, Mexican tacos, Moroccan tagine, Vietnamese pho, and more.

4. VIP Lounge
A dedicated space exclusively for guests who book rooms with VIP Lounge access. Light meals and cocktails are served as the scenery changes throughout the day.

5. Large Public Bath and Sauna
The hotel's sauna is supervised by "Sugoi Sauna" and incorporates Japan's traditional therapeutic bathing (toji) philosophy through a low-temperature design. The setup features a room temperature of 65°C, humidity of 60%, and far-infrared heating at 60°C — warming the body deeply and promoting efficient perspiration and sustained relaxation. The facilities also feature rare Mt. Fuji lava plates.
