GARDEN DINING, the bright and open buffet restaurant on the first floor of Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba, is hosting a limited-time "Mediterranean Gourmet Fair" from May 8 to June 28, 2026. The fair spotlights the food cultures of Greece, Morocco, Spain, and Italy, with dishes that make the most of herbs, spices, olive oil, and the natural flavors of seafood.

Starters and Salads

The appetizer selection includes smoked salmon and seafood marinade with a tangy jalapeño bite, herring fritters with a yogurt and dill sauce, and a quiche inspired by the Greek spinach-and-cheese pie known as spanakopita. A build-your-own Greek salad with feta cheese and olives, along with a cheese and salami platter, rounds out the starter offerings.

Hot Dishes and Chef Station

The hot buffet features Navarin (a slow-cooked lamb stew in tomato sauce), Moussaka (the classic Greek layered vegetable dish), and Poached Scorpionfish served with seasonal vegetables and two types of cream sauce. At the chef station, classic roast beef is accompanied by a Jamón Serrano leg carving service, where guests can enjoy freshly sliced cured ham.

Desserts

The dessert spread includes Cassata, a chilled Sicilian ice cream cake; Greek yogurt panna cotta with blueberry sauce; and Tarta de Santiago, a traditional almond cake from northern Spain.
