Hakone Ashinoko Hanaori Unveils 2026 Summer Wellness Stay Plan with Hot Springs, Beauty Care, and Seasonal Buffet

Hakone Ashinoko Hanaori, an upscale hot spring resort on the shores of Lake Ashi in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, will begin offering a new accommodation plan from June 5, 2026 (Friday). Themed "Refresh before you play this summer," the plan is tailored for adult women who find themselves feeling out of balance during the transition from the rainy season into summer. It brings together three elements — hot springs, beauty care, and seasonal cuisine — for a stay centered on gentle self-renewal.

On the same date, the resort's buffet dining hall, "Kishikari," will also transition to its summer menu, serving a lineup of dishes that highlight seasonal ingredients with a light, refreshing touch.

Hakone Lululun Ajisai face mask

Each guest staying under the plan receives one "Hakone Lululun Ajisai" local specialty face mask. The hydrangea used in the mask is carefully harvested by female employees along the Hakone Tozan Railway route, lending the product a gentle floral scent and a moisturizing feel. After a soak in the hot spring, applying the mask in the guest room offers a quiet, unhurried beauty moment — a small ritual to help ease the skin and mind into the summer season.

Plan details:

  • Plan name: [1 Night, 2 Meals Included] Hakone Lululun Ajisai (Face Mask) Plan
  • Sales start: June 5, 2026 (Friday) from 12:00 PM
  • Room rates: from ¥15,822 (dinner and breakfast included, consumption tax included, hot spring tax extra)

Summer-Flavored Dinner Buffet

At buffet dining hall "Kishikari," the menu shifts to a summer selection from June 5, 2026. The new lineup features dishes that bring out the natural flavors and aromas of seasonal ingredients without feeling heavy — a balance of lightness and satisfaction suited to the warmer months.

Among the seasonal starters in the "Shizuku of the Season" corner, guests will find dishes such as "Chicken Confit with Sansho Pepper" and "Jade Eggplant and Steamed Abalone with Dashi Jelly" — cooling, aromatic bites that set a refreshing tone for the meal. A "Cold Capellini with Shirasu and Salted Kelp" also makes an appearance, offering a savory, summery taste.
