HIBIYA CENTRAL MARKET Hosts 3-Day Food-Themed Event with Autumn Wine Festival from October 10

HIBIYA CENTRAL MARKET, a multi-concept shop in Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, is holding a food-themed special event, "HIBIYA CENTRAL MARKETの食にまつわるetc...", from October 10 (Sat) to October 12 (Mon, national holiday), 2026.

At the izakaya 一角, an "Autumn Wine Festival" (秋のワイン祭) is held in collaboration with the winery モンデ酒造 in Fuefuki, Yamanashi. Along with five wines from the "YOAKENO" series and Kyoho Sparkling (巨峰スパークリング), a new product called canned secondary-fermentation wine (缶内二次発酵ワイン), scheduled for release in January 2027, is offered to the general public ahead of its release for the first time in Japan. Pairings with domestic horse sashimi are also available.

The event also includes a solo exhibition by ceramic artist Mugihiko Kitagawa at CABINET OF CURIOSITIES (October 10 to 25), and limited-time food such as donuts and financiers from BEKE.BEKE.BAKE, bento boxes and obanzai (Japanese side dishes) by chef 武田和弘 of heureux, and tea from Tea Studio. Other programs across the shop include a carbonated face pack at 理容ヒビヤ, a FREDERIC BEAUSOLEIL pop-up at CONVEX (October 10 to 25), and a food-themed book selection at the bookshelves (本棚) from September 15 to November 5.

Mugihiko Kitagawa Solo Exhibition

Mugihiko Kitagawa solo exhibition

A solo exhibition by Mugihiko Kitagawa (北川麦彦), a ceramic artist who works in the mountains of Oguni, Aso, in Kumamoto. His vessels are hand-built with Aso clay and a natural ash glaze made from vegetables and plants. Soft in form, they combine simplicity and strength in a style of their own.

FREDERIC BEAUSOLEIL is a long-established French eyewear brand known for its vivid colors and strong design. The shop has held pop-ups for the brand before and does so again this autumn. During the period, the lineup is greatly expanded beyond the usual selection.

Autumn Wine Festival (秋のワイン祭)

A collaboration with モンデ酒造, a winery in Fuefuki, Yamanashi, founded in 1952. Five wines from モンデ酒造's flagship "YOAKENO" series are served, along with Kyoho Sparkling (巨峰スパークリング). A coffee shop where visitors can stop for a brief rest, like a ship anchoring in a creek (inlet) partway through a voyage.

BEKE.BEKE.BAKE

BEKE.BEKE.BAKE, a sweets maker with no storefront of its own that mainly operates in shared spaces and at events, opens at the venue for the first time. The lineup centers on popular donuts and bear-shaped financiers, which go well with CREEK's coffee, along with seasonal baked sweets.

heureux

武田和弘, owner-chef of heureux (ウールー), has experience as a tempura chef and now works in on-location cooking and catering. Special bento boxes and obanzai, which can also be eaten in CREEK's cafe space, are sold in limited quantities.

Tea Studio

Tea Studio explores new value in Japanese tea with a free-minded approach. Its Japanese tea and black tea packs are sold as a special offering. On October 10 (Sat), from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (last order 8:30 PM), a special collaboration with heureux offers eat-in service, where visitors can enjoy original blend teas with obanzai.
