New Menu Arrives at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya's Lantern-Lit HIBIYA SUMMER DINER

Tokyo Midtown Hibiya (Yurakucho, Chiyoda-ku; operated by Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.) is hosting "HIBIYA MID SUMMER 2026" from Friday, June 26 through Sunday, August 23, 2026. At Hibiya Step Plaza, daytime visitors enjoy summer outings while evening crowds settle in with food and drinks in hand, keeping the plaza lively day after day.

New Additions at HIBIYA SUMMER DINER

The event's centerpiece, the outdoor diner "HIBIYA SUMMER DINER," has added new menu items. At the sandwich booth, the popular house-made pastrami sandwich now comes topped with melted cheese as "House-Made Beef Pastrami Melt Cheese," alongside snack-friendly options like coleslaw salad and pickles. At the taco booth, new additions include garlic shrimp fritters and spicy lamb kalbi, both designed to pair well with drinks. New drinks include summery mojitos, frozen margaritas, and Corona beer served with vibrant orange or green garnishes.

The atmosphere at HIBIYA SUMMER DINER

The roughly 100-seat venue also places lanterns on every table, and as night falls their soft glow spreads across the plaza, offering an open-air summer evening in the middle of the city. Whether it's a casual drink after work or a stop before or after a movie or play, HIBIYA SUMMER DINER welcomes visitors throughout the evening.

あいぱく® TOKYO Adds a New "Flower Soft" Flavor

At the top of the grand staircase in Hibiya Step Plaza, the craft ice cream shop "あいぱく® TOKYO," which gathers select local ice creams from all 47 prefectures, continues its limited-time run through Sunday, September 27 — even after HIBIYA MID SUMMER 2026 wraps up. It's a chance to sample flavors from across Japan without leaving Hibiya.

Flower Soft planned for あいぱく® TOKYO

Starting Thursday, August 6, two new craft soft-serve flavors join the "Flower Soft" lineup: one from North Plain Farm in Okoppe, Hokkaido, and one from Milne Farm in Saga Prefecture. North Plain Farm's version uses organic milk from its own ranch for a rich flavor and a clean, refreshing sweetness, while Milne Farm brings back "Milk Coffee," a popular flavor normally sold for a limited time at its own store, blending roasted coffee with gentle milky sweetness. Compare the distinct flavors from each ranch.

The individual soft-serve images above are representative of each farm's product; at あいぱく® TOKYO, each flavor will be offered as "Flower Soft."

With hours running until 8:00 PM, the shop is also a good option for a midday outing or a cool-down after work. Try a scoop of local ice cream after a meal at the diner for a quintessential summer outing.

This summer, Tokyo Midtown Hibiya invites visitors to escape the heat with delicious food, cold drinks, and ice cream from around Japan.
