Hotel Granvia Kyoto Launches Tea-Scented Chocolate Parfait for Valentine's Season

Hotel Granvia Kyoto (Shimogyo Ward, General Manager: Satoru Miura) will launch the "Tea-Scented Chocolate Parfait" at its 2nd-floor lobby lounge "Grand Jour" for a limited time from February 1, 2026 (Sunday) to February 28, 2026 (Saturday).

Perfect for the Valentine's season, the "Tea-Scented Chocolate Parfait" features tea cream made with Ronnefeldt tea, fresh chocolate using Valrhona chocolate that brings out cacao's rich flavor, domestic strawberries, and more, offering a variety of tastes and textures. The visually stunning presentation, resembling fresh chocolates arranged in a showcase, was completed after much trial and error by the pastry chef, who deliberately created spatial elements. Please enjoy this delicate, artwork-like creation during this special season.

Top Layer / Upper Section

Belgian chocolate ice cream is topped with heart-shaped bitter and white chocolates. Just below, domestic strawberries circle around the glass, surrounded by tea cream made by simmering Ronnefeldt's Sri Lankan "Nuwara Eliya" in milk. "Nuwara Eliya" pairs excellently with milk, enhancing its creamy flavor. This luxurious layer allows you to enjoy the sweetness and acidity of the tea cream and domestic strawberries.

Lower Section

Rich, moist fresh chocolate and crunchy granola are combined with creamy tea cream and strawberry sauce, deepening the flavor experience.

After savoring the refreshing taste of white wine jelly and domestic strawberries, a chocolate mousse appears, made with two types of French Valrhona chocolate. The mousse features deep flavor and rich aroma from the combination of bitter "Guanara," characterized by its rich and bitter taste, and "Caraïbe," which has a fruity and well-balanced acidic taste.
