THE THOUSAND KYOTO, the flagship hotel of the Keihan Group located in Kyoto's Shimogyo Ward, will offer four limited-time spring sweets at its second-floor café and bar "TEA AND BAR" from March 1 (Sunday) to April 30 (Thursday), 2026. Three seasonal cakes will be available throughout this period, while a special cherry blossom cake will make its appearance from March 14 (Saturday) to April 14 (Tuesday).

TEA AND BAR regularly features hotel-made sweets with creative flavors and beautiful presentation that change with each season. This spring's lineup includes four varieties: "Chiboust Luire," a jewel box-style chiboust filled with overflowing strawberries; "Gâteau Printemps," a vibrant macaron cake celebrating spring; "Ligne de Citron et Thé," a refreshing mousse cake with honey and lemon; and "Perle Rosée Sakura," a special cake adorned with delicate candy art and cherry blossom fragrance.
Guests can enjoy these spring sweets alongside Kyoto-grown Japanese black tea or coffee in the bright, inviting hotel café and bar, creating a memorable moment to celebrate the arrival of spring.

Chiboust Luire

Gâteau Printemps
