Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay in Minato-ku, Tokyo is set to host a series of parent-child experience events this summer on select dates. Three programs are on offer — a "Parent-Child Table Manner Class," a "Parent-Child Cooking Class," and a "Little Patissier Experience" — each designed for families to learn and enjoy together.

Parent-Child Table Manner Class
This program is supervised by Koji Shoji, store manager and sommelier at the hotel's French fine dining restaurant La Provence. Participants learn formal table manners from the ground up, covering the history of dining etiquette, correct use of cutlery, how to hold glasses, soup-drinking technique, and bread etiquette — all in a relaxed, quiz-style format. The class is suited both for children experiencing a formal restaurant for the first time and for adults who want a refresher.

Parent-Child Cooking Class
Held in collaboration with Fresh Cheese Studio — a brand focused on freshly made domestic dairy products — this class gives participants a lesson in mozzarella cheese making from Fresh Cheese Studio staff. Chef Yohei Abe, head chef of Italian Dining Zillion, then leads a tiramisu-making session. After the hands-on portion, families sit down for an Italian course meal that incorporates the mozzarella cheese and dessert they made themselves. Adults take home a Burrata as a souvenir; children receive an acrylic stand keychain.
