This charming specialty cake, inspired by "Ikechan," the mascot character of the electric bus "IKEBUS" that travels around the Ikebukuro Station area, has been crafted with meticulous attention to flavor to satisfy customers of all ages as an official Toshima tourism souvenir. Ikechan Cake ¥680
The cake features a delicate yogurt mousse base layered with a carefully crafted citrus fresh jelly. Hidden inside is a luxurious coulis made from blueberries and cassis from Chichibu City in Saitama Prefecture, Toshima Ward's sister city. Chocolate cereal and light lemon biscuit add a pleasant textural rhythm. The entire creation is enveloped in raspberry and ruby chocolate, offering a gentle sweetness and fruity acidity that melts elegantly in your mouth to create a refined and sophisticated cake.
