Hotel Metropolitan Sendai is hosting a limited-time "Korean Food Fair" at Restaurant & Cafe Serenity from March 1 to March 31, 2026.
In addition to the popular Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine that the chefs take pride in, this fair will feature Korean dishes for a limited time. Last June marked the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea, and 2027 will mark the 25th anniversary of the sister city partnership between Sendai City and Gwangju Metropolitan City. Against this backdrop of friendship, the buffet will offer popular Korean dishes such as Samgyeopsal and Yangnyeom Chicken, as well as Gwangju's specialty "Meat Jeon," all served carving-style so guests can enjoy freshly prepared dishes.
During the fair, customers who dine at the lunch buffet can enter a drawing for a chance to win one of two pairs of round-trip tickets on Asiana Airlines from Sendai Airport to Seoul for a 2-night, 3-day trip, presented by Sendai Airport. This special opportunity allows guests to savor the appeal of Korean cuisine and potentially continue their culinary journey to Korea itself.
