Hotel Okura Fukuoka to Offer Weekday Dim Sum Order Buffet and Weekend Congee Lunch Course from June 2026

The Chinese restaurant Tokalin at Hotel Okura Fukuoka in Hakata, Fukuoka, is introducing two new lunch offerings starting June 2026. A weekday-only dim sum order buffet runs from June 1 through July 31, while a weekend and holiday congee lunch course launches on June 6 and continues year-round.

Weekday-Only Seasonal Summer Dim Sum Order Buffet

Available June 1 (Monday) through July 31 (Friday), 2026, on weekdays only, this all-you-can-order buffet features a lineup of 36 items served within a 90-minute seating. Diners order directly from the kitchen, enjoying dishes fresh from the steam baskets and woks.

The menu spans three categories:

Dim Sum
Shumai, shrimp har gow, glutinous rice meatballs, spring rolls, tofu skin rolls, fried shrimp and crab balls, steamed pork and daikon cakes, pan-fried chive dumplings, and more.

Main Dishes
Lettuce with oyster sauce, eggplant in ma-la sauce, shrimp toast, shrimp with mayonnaise sauce, chili shrimp, crispy chicken with herb sauce, char siu fried rice, dried scallop congee, and more.

Desserts
Almond jelly, mango pudding, coconut milk with tapioca, almond cookies and lotus paste pastry, steamed sponge cake, and more.

Weekend & Holiday "Haochi Congee Lunch Course"

Starting June 6 (Saturday), 2026, and running year-round on weekends and public holidays, the "Haochi (Hǎo Chī) Congee Lunch Course" offers a full multi-course meal centered around silky, slow-simmered Chinese congee.

The course progresses from a small pre-meal congee bite through appetizers, soup, three varieties of dim sum, a sautéed vegetable dish, a stir-fried main, congee with a choice of topping, and almond jelly for dessert. Guests select one of five congee toppings: shrimp, meatball, white fish, century egg, or vegetables.

The June and July menu also features winter melon and mushroom thick soup, and chicken breast stir-fried with black bean sauce.

Tokalin serves Cantonese cuisine with over 121 menu items, including a generous selection of house-made dim sum. The restaurant is located on the basement level of Hotel Okura Fukuoka, directly connected to Nakasu-kawabata Station (exit 6) on the Fukuoka City Subway — approximately 10 minutes from Fukuoka Airport and about 5 minutes from JR Hakata Station.
