In Osaka's Shinsaibashi, "ORANGE BOUTIQUE SHINSAIBASHI" -- the flagship location of the Hermès specialty store "ORANGE BOUTIQUE," operated by Houbidou Co., Ltd. -- has reopened as a combined store with "HOUBIDOU."
"ORANGE BOUTIQUE SHINSAIBASHI" first opened in November 2021 as a reuse store specializing in Hermès in the international Shinsaibashi area, a district that draws a diverse mix of visitors from Japan and abroad. With this renewal, the store -- now one of the largest Hermès specialty stores in Japan -- has expanded its lineup even further, ranging from mainstay popular models such as the Birkin, Kelly, Constance, Bolide, Picotin, Garden Party, and Evelyne to rare vintage pieces, meeting the increasingly diverse needs of customers from Japan and overseas.
Beyond strengthening and expanding its Hermès selection, the store has also opened a new "HOUBIDOU" floor on the first floor, offering a wide range of clothing accessories, watches, and jewelry from luxury brands including Rolex, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton.
Both the first and second floors have been substantially renovated to expand the sales area, with display cases redesigned to be easier to browse, creating an even more comfortable shopping space than before.
Amid growing demand for selling brand-name items, a privacy-conscious buyback booth has also been added, providing a calm space for appraisals and consultations. Experienced professional buyers offer appraisals, working with customers to arrive at a fair value.
"HOUBIDOU × ORANGE BOUTIQUE SHINSAIBASHI" now carries more than 2,000 items. In a bright, spacious interior, the store draws on a sourcing network and specialist appraisal system built up over many years to maintain a steady supply of rare items alongside thorough quality control.
